Throughout the winter Nigel has been continuing work on his beautiful new album, LICHENHEART, a deep mythical exploration of the dreamscape of the ancient land in which he has been embedded for over thirty years. There are nine pieces of music, a diverse sonic collection that spirals around the changing landscape, composed on piano and flutes plus musical and vocal contributions from special guests. The first song, Wintergreen, is available on download and through our Youtube channel: the story of the winter wood always holding life and hope at its heart; the vivid greens of holly, yew and moss shine like beacons across the muted cold earth, showing a way forward towards the future… Release date: summer 2024.
