The weft and warp of our sisterhood in a tea towel

German language Sister Blanket. This edition was originally created for the Arkuna women’s community based near Stuttgart, who have worked for many years in the Hohle Fels Cave. The figure they have chosen for this textile is the Hohle Fels Mama, a prehistoric figure carved from mammouth ivory 40,000 years ago who was found beneath the mouth of the cave in 2008.

This textile is currently out of stock as all copies were sent to a women’s winter festival in Germany.
