Since 1992 we performed dance gigs with our band, firstly as Global and later as Riven. We have mostly played at small festivals with a wild edge, as well as Glastonbury and WOMAD. A windstorm of shamanic trance dance with a hypnotic techno groove and a swirling web of rhythms…
This was the second album by the Global, following our first recording, Willywoman (which was extensively distributed in the 90’s via cassette but is now long lost in the haze of midnight gigs and festival mud).
