FOUR WINDS Festival of the Flute / August 9-11 on Dartmoor

A very special and unique gathering is taking place on our Dartmoor farm this summer. We will be hosting a wonderful array of teachers, makers, performers and ceremonialists, as well as people who simply love the sacred song of flutes. There will be workshops, flute circles, concerts and many opportunities to immerse into this music of earth and wind and water. And we have just released a new ticket type (Flute Player) for those who would like to participate without including a flute-making master class in their weekend…

This festival is being created and hosted by Nigel Shaw and features his long-time flute brothers Guillermo Martinez (USA, Tarascan tribe) and Hiroki Okano (Japan), as well as many talented and mesmerising performers including Adrian Freedman, Michael Ormiston, Candida Valentino, Domenic Decicco, Carolyn Hillyer, Lua Maria, Kate Fletcher, Corwen Broch and others. The weekend will offer flute circles, workshops, instrument crafting, masterclasses, evening concerts, open mic sessions and much more. The event is for everyone who haa made a flute, plays a flute, is interested in starting their journey with the flute or who would simply like to experience this place of wild sanctuary filled with the beauty of flute song.

We are offering camping at Lower Merripit Farm and can give information about local B&B alternatives. We are limiting places for this event to 100 people including presenters. We have small number of Full Tickets and a handful of Flute Player tickets still available. More details and booking available here.
