DO YOU REMEMBER WHEN ALL THIS WAS FOREST?
A concert of tender lament and wild celebration
Nigel Shaw and Carolyn Hillyer
A concert that travels along ancestral trails, across untamed landscapes and into rebellious joy with tender music, fierce songs and ancient chants. Songs that have been born from spirit houses, bear caves, reindeer roads and wild horse hills. An invitation to honour earth through music, dream change through song, and then dance to meet the challenge.
BONE TO BONE: On our way home
A workshop to honour ancestors and sacred land
Carolyn Hillyer and Nigel Shaw
The ancient land holds the key to our primordial connection with the web of human time, the ancestral source, the spirit home, our house of bones. Each one of us has a place inside the wild memory of the sacred land. It is the vessel that nurtures and protects us as we quest and journey; it is the prayer that holds the spinning world together. It is the reminder that nature, earth and all of life are to be honoured as we travel along the trail. With drum and flute, with song and mythic tale, Carolyn and Nigel will share a meditational journey within the ancient places that mark our way home.
