Workshop: SMALL GREY FEATHERS: Honouring the Quiet Wisdoms

Here is a small grey feather, cast from an unknown bird and now abandoned… We will miss a treasure if we choose not to pick it up, for this feather bears witness to so many possibilities, a myriad of ways to perceive something.The gifts offered by our small grey feathers are abundant and rich. In remembering and honouring the quiet ancestral indigeny that we each carry within our bones, we learn connection, meaning, wisdom, strength, balance, humility, respect for this planet, for all tribes of people and for ourselves. Weaving together song, drum, flute meditation, mythic tale, simple ritual and an ancient primordial magic carried by the mûkthno wailî (marsh wolf women in the Proto-Celtic language), Carolyn and Nigel will share a journey into wild land and sacred ancestors. 

Concert: THIS REMEMBERED EARTH

This precious, extraordinary, beautiful Earth… how might we share songs that cause our souls to weep from the wonder and pain of this remembered Earth? This ancient, magical surprising Earth… how might we weave music that causes our dancing feet to leap as we travel the wild forgotten ways of this remembered Earth? We will share a braid of new music and songs, wandering from soul-filled to mystical, from earthy to ethereal, from dream-wrapped to dance-infuse, performing on a range of traditional instruments.
