A magical weekend of music, sacred craft, ceremony and celebration
Hosted this summer on Dartmoor by Nigel Shaw
TICKET SALE ENDED
You are invited to join us for a magical gathering with music, workshops, celebration & ceremony. This unique event is being created to honour one of the oldest musical instruments around the world, for flutes have been part of our human journey on the planet for over 40,000 years. Flutes are the instruments closest to our living breath, created from the very bones of the earth.
For this very special event we have gathered together talented and inspiring teachers, makers and performers, who will guide and create deep ceremonies; share flute circles, workshops in instrument making, sessions on the spirit of flutes and how to play the instrument; offer beautiful and uplifting music performances. FOUR WINDS festival welcomes everyone who loves the sound of the flute, those who have never played or made a flute, those who have been travelling the flute path for many years, and everyone in between. We have a total of 100 places available for this small festival, located on our ancient Dartmoor farm, a place of wild sanctuary where you can find and explore your flute song in the company of others or in gentle solitude amid the meadows, woodland and marshes.
Due to many requests we have decided to make available a limited number of FLUTE PLAYER tickets which will include everything on the weekend programme except for the Flute Making Masterclass. There are only 12 of these still available at £180 – tickets can be purchased below.
We still have a few bursary places remaining at £125 with priority given to students and those under 30 years – please email us directly at email@example.com
